The Steels Creek Community Centre is located at 699 Steels Creek Road, Steels Creek, 3775. This is the site of the former Steels Creek Primary School which closed 1992.

The building is used by a number of community groups for meetings and workshops : The Stitchers Group, The Steels Creek Garden Club, an Art Group, Film Nights and a Saturday Market.

During the cooler weather a small but active Walking Group operates, usually once a month.

The Community publishes a newsletter "The Jolly Thing" which is delivered to most residents, It is also available at the Yarra Glen Post Office. In future it is hoped to also publish via this Web-site.
